GREENFLOW AND LAMOR STRENGTHEN TECHNICAL TRAINING AT THE PORT RECEPTION FACILITY IN THE PORT OF MONGLA

 

Greenflow recently returned to Bangladesh to deliver, together with its partner LAMOR, a comprehensive technical and operational training programme for the team responsible for operating the Port Reception Facility (PRF) installed at the Port of Mongla.

Over a three-week period, local operators received specialized training designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to operate the facility efficiently, safely and sustainably, while ensuring full compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards and applicable environmental requirements.

 

The training programme combined classroom sessions with hands-on practical instruction, providing participants with comprehensive preparation for the operation of the facility. Key topics included equipment operation, the use of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, preventive maintenance procedures, inspection routines, safety protocols, emergency response, and operational monitoring, record-keeping and reporting.
