Greenflow has been contracted by Lamor Corporation, headquarted in Finland, for the design and construction of a full Port Reception Facility for the collection and treatment of Marpol waste in Mongla Port, Bangladesh.
The project contains Bangladesh’s first-ever full port reception facility to handle and process various ship generated waste calling Mongla port, in accordance with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).
The modular plant using Greenflow’s M-Concept will be able to treat MARPOL wastes from Annex 1, 4 and 5.
Greenflow`s proven technology, and modular concept, has been an instrumental part of the success for this contract.
This is obviously an important step, towards the commercial development of Greenflow´s solution M-CONCEPT, applied to Port Reception Facilities, to expand it to other ports in Asia.
The partnership with LAMOR CORPORATION is already a successful story, and Greenflow is confident that, together, more success is to come.
